Any prophet of God who boldly stands up today and exposes sin for the odorous stench that it is, as Jesus exposed it, will likely be charged with being judgmental, negative and out of touch with the contemporary beat.

The weak, compromising prophets would piously admonish, “Judge not,” brother, “that ye be not judged” (Matt. 7:1). It is important to note that these words spoken by the Lord Jesus in the sermon on the Mount were addressed to a hypocrite. “Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye” (Matt. 7:5).

Holiness is a judge to all that is evil. To judge sin wherever it is found is to travel the holy way. If you judge sin in your own life, you are qualified to judge sin wherever it is found.
