The lives of most Christians are not full, much less overflowing. Most Christians live far beneath the Scriptural pattern of victorious living. There are far too many sub-standard Christians.
The Spirit-filled, Spirit-ruled, Spirit-guided life is the norm for every Christian. The Word of God abounds with stories of average men and women doing extraordinary things and receiving extraordinary blessing--through obedience to Christ. It is the story of men and women who paid the price of power, and pursued the path of spiritual progress.
God is looking today for men and women who will dare to do exploits, through whom He can work wonders and move mountains. God wants to manifest Himself in our days. We can have His supernatural power in our lives.
The power of the Holy Ghost is available today to make the usual unusual! Are we ready to go with Gods program? Are we ready to move with God? He wants to deliver us from our enemies, free us from our fears, and help us to live in righteousness and holiness all the days of our lives.
There is no place in the economy of God for fumbling, feeble, fruitless Christians. Christ did not come to save us in our sin, but from our sin. Faulty discipleship and defective consecration should not be tolerated nor excused. There is no need to be a hopelessly weak Christian. He is able to save to the uttermost. He is able to make you stand. He is able to make all grace abound. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
A life of practical holiness, of useful service, and Christlike character is the attainable ideal set forth in the Word of God. Thousands have found this pathway of power, this way of holiness. Gods commands are Gods enablings, and He said, Be ye holy; for I am holy (1 Pet. 1:16).
Victory in the Christian life is the golden goal of the Gospel. Everything that dares to interfere with this must be purged. God wants us to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to break every yoke. He wants us to ride on the high places of the earth.
Gods best can be ours! The hand of God can be laid upon our souls. The dynamic power of God can pour through our lives. We can--and must--see God move. God is searching for a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
The message of victory and power, of reckoning ourselves dead to sin, presenting ourselves to God, of walking in the Spirit, of bearing the Cross--must be constantly championed and strongly stressed. Will you join in the battle? This is no time for us to be casual onlookers. May God help us to be wholehearted heroes and adventurous soldiers in the great arena of life.
