A Personal Note To The Readers...
A verse that God gave me from Jeremiah has characterized my heart and desire to see revival in the modern day church: 'A wonderful and horrbile thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?' -Jeremiah 5:30-31. Much of the writings I have done are simply quotes and older writings brought out to the general public again. I see it very important to get these 'old paths' and writings out to people in our day. We desperately need to see ourselves and this generation properly in accordance with church history and what God has done in the past. Leonard Ravenhill said many years ago: 'The sad thing that we learn from history is that we do not learn from history.' May it not be so for us. God still desires to do great exploits in this generation. - Greg Gordon.
